Internet workshop

We teach our students how to use the Net so that you can continue studying Spanish after your courses have finished.

Sightseeing

Each fortnight approximately we visit some of the most beautiful Spanish cities: Oviedo, Salamanca, Zamora, Segovia, Madrid, Toledo, Burgos, Lugo, etc. We also dedicate some afternoons to know some of the most typical Spanish villages of León province.

Parties

As well as the welcome reception where our newly-come students have the opportunity of meeting your mates, any occasion (Christmas, birthdays...) is good to spend a good time together.

Cooking workshop

From time to time we give our students the opportunity to cook a typical Spanish dish so that you can acquire new lexis and practise grammatical contents.

"Cooking" tours

We often organize tours to some places in our geography famous for their cooking. In this way, our students can try some typical Spanish dishes.

Music workshop

We use the latest Spanish hits to work on different linguistic and cultural aspects.

Art workshop

These workshops are excellent to take profit out of our students´artistic abilities to learn Spanish. Sometimes we ask some specialized monitors to teach some basic notions of painting, sculpture, etc.

Cultural tours in León

Almost every week we organize a visit so that the newly-come students can get familiar with León and the others can know the most beautiful places in our city.

Radio workshop

After listening to different Spanish radio programs and even attending them as public the students prepare one themselves.

Literature workshop

Here we try to wake our students´ literary talent and help them to practise your Spanish by writing poetry, stories, short novels, plays, etc.

Trekking

Whenever the weather is good, we walk and trek through our varied landscapes so that our students can enjoy the nature.

Press workshop

Every month, the students elaborate a newspaper as the summary -with different news- of the most important events happened during your stay in León.

Sport workshop

From time to time we practise some folk sports and explain their rules and characteristics, so that the students use different lexical fields and some important grammatical structures.

Linguistic and cultural tour

In this activity you can measure your progress in Spanish (language and culture) during a kind of contest where you have to pass a series of linguistic and cultural tests in the city centre.

Cinema workshop

We watch some of the most important Spanish films and, later, we make some exercises about different cultural and linguistic aspects.

Conferences and lectures

Once a month we invite a well-known person from the Leonese cultural life to talk to our students about literature, art, economy, etc.

Video and photography workshop

The students receive some basic knowlegde of video and photography and prepare an exposition where you can show, at the same time, your Spanish level.

Theatre workshop

Helped by a specialized monitor our students set on scene a play previously read, worked and rehearsed.

Latin dance workshop

The students are taught how to dance some kinds of Latin dance (rumba, sevillanas, salsa, etc.) and know the main features of the Spanish-speaking countries they are typical of.
